The Various Water Pumps

Whether pumps are purchased online or on a particular location, whatever its cost may be, they surely come in different varieties. Thus, as for the case of water pumps, there is no surprise that it could come either in single stage, multi-stage or even in booster pump sets and that for every stage or sets; it is distinctly identified through different series.

When asked why should there be a need to be interested on such series, this is to understand how a particular feature complements a corresponding application. Take for instance the case for single stage pumps.

Single stage pumps can come in the form of CO Series which is characterised to have a threaded centrifugal pump with an open impeller. The advantage of using this pump is on how its open impeller provides efficiency on its iron impeller, which prevents re-circulation of fluids that are intended to be discharge already. Moreover, common problems on sand locking caused by worn rings from a close impeller are also prevented. Lastly, the impeller and the vane edge can be set on adjustments to suit desirable fluid clearance, required for a particular be it for pumping cooling liquid to machine tools, industrial dishwashing and water treatment.

There are also those referred to as BG Series water pumps. They are identified as having a close-coupled self-priming centrifugal pump, designed to handle air-water mixture from a mere centrifugal force. This is advantageous since a standard centrifugal pump simplifies the great difficulty of pounding air. Together with a built-in ejector system that makes possible handling the presence of water-dissolved gases, and an extensive use of pressed stainless steel, this series ensures an output of a durable, high-performance and lightweight pump rather than a stucked pump. Actually, it can be used for water distribution, pressure boosting, rain water collection, swimming pools and even setting up fountains.

Aside from those mentioned, FH series also abound which is featured to have centrifugal electric pumps. These are known to be in compliance with EN 733, which is actually a standard that allows removal of the pump body without having been disconnected from the pipes. These then allow them to pump hot, cold and moderately aggressive liquids especially that it is built with AISI 316 stainless steel as well. Hence, this kind of pump is suited for heating, cooling and chilling, heat recovery, filtration equipment or for fire-fighting equipment.

And just as how modifications and embellishments can be further requested on certain products, so as the case for these water pumps to have a Hydrovar frequency converter, or with a level 1 motor or a  4-pole water, that which distinctly complements client’s needs. Just in case your preference was not mentioned above, there are more series of water pumps available on Pump Solutions Australasia.
