Lowara Pumps Boast of Enhanced Features

When it comes to great quality pumps – Lowara Pumps always comes to mind. These machines are cost-effective, dependable, and efficient. It does its job as expected because it is designed in A-ISI-316 and A-ISI-304 fabricated stainless steel and can tackle many applications from liquid to chemical solutions. This technology proves that Lowara is manufactured for the toughest environment.

The introduction of the latest e-SV models of ITT Corp. has enabled the Lowara line of vertical multi-level and stainless steel pumps to function even more accurately. Showcasing a high-tech hydraulic architecture and functionality that greatly minimizes the operational expenses and increase energy savings, the pumps are very ideal for a huge array of industrial and commercial applications.

The latest pump brands also have different design features that provide convenient control and greatly lessen the time for maintenance. Its “o” ring clamp is made to allow for convenient disassembly of the exterior sleeve and the steel seal can be replaced without taking out the motor.

The hybrid hydraulic function offers competent amounts of NPSHr while the all-stainless steel frame allows for ACS and WRAS accreditation that lets the pump to deal with the rigors of pure liquid handling as it battles with rust.

Economic and environmental situations are forcing the requirement and need for added energy saving and high-grade pumps. The new e-SV series is the most energy saving pump in its class that is very convenient and easy to operate and very cost-effective to maintain, allowing the user to save on overhead costs.

The Lowara series of pumps have powerful efficiency that gives great savings on energy backed by low horsepower motors as it gives an extra 10% less in your budget which is what many industrial traders today look for.

The Lowara pumps’ special features are excellent and efficient power that gives superb power consumption savings; lower NPSHR, minimizing elevation and piping costs by more than twenty percent; rigid framework for an MTBF of 20,000 hours; upgraded pump portfolio that enhances pump functions allowing for ultimate and genuine performance; lessened impeller-axial thrust that gives extra mileage of life bearing and use.

The showcasing of the e-SV series reinforces the programs of ITT Corp. to enable for sustainable products that will be beneficial to the environment. Lowara pumps takes its worldwide campaign in water pumping methods very effectively and focuses on aiding its customers in the energy-efficient and eco-friendly service, systems, and products to satisfy its clients.

Things to Consider When Using Submersible Pumps

Pumps are equipment which moves fluids using very high pressure. Submersible pumps are pumps which are being attached to the main pump body that provides the power to lift the fluid. Unlike jet pumps, submersible pumps can drive the water or any other liquid substance to the surface. But, these are just as effective as the jet pumps.

There are many uses for submersible pumps. In fact, they have a wider scope of work. They can be used for slurry pumping, industrial pumping, drainage pumping, and aquarium filtering. Another purpose is for lowering down bore wells.

Here are some things to consider when using these submersible pumps:

1.      It is important to remember that the motor power wires be kept away from the wiring used for detecting moisture. This is necessary to keep the detection efficient for submersible pumps.
2.      For the purposes of chilling the pump when liquid is poured around the motor, it is wise not to use hot or combustible liquid. Using these liquids may cause gas leakage which would result to fire or destruction of submersible pumps.
3.      During the fitting of pumps, the machine-driven seals should be checked whether they are correctly placed or not. The presence of moisture should also be checked.
4.      If there are situations when the liquid to be pumped contains sediment, it is necessary to attach filter screens which will prevent the rubbles from penetrating the outlet region.
5.      The functionality of submersible pumps should be checked before using them. One way to do this is to pour some water in the pump and let it drive thoroughly. The pumps should also be fixed in the deepest portion of the area filled with water.
6.      The connection of the power source should be situated above the water level. They should also be kept dry to avoid accidents. However, the outlet area of submersible pumps should be lower than that of the water-filled area.
7.      Finally, the pumps should be corrosion-resistant. Durable submersible pumps can last a very long time.
